
Ira and Julia are ceremonial musicians and wedding officants available for weddings in the Hudson Valley and surrounding areas of New York. In addition they are performing recording artists/singer songwriters. Ira still leads religious services periodically in San Francisco Bay Area and Manhattan temples. Ira is originally from Florida. Julia's originally from Iowa, they met in the Bay Area. They have a musical group called The Levins. They also perform in schools and libraries for children. Ira is also a songleader for various community settings. Julia also sings with internationally acclaimed a cappella group Vocolot.
Ira Scott Levin is a registered Wedding Officiant and has performed several weddings. He is also leads religious services and is a song leader, storyteller, multi instrumentalist, vocalist, lyricist, composer, recording artist and educator. He performs with his wife Julia as a duo and with a larger world folk ensemble known as The Levins.
Julia Bordenaro Levin is also a Wedding Officiant and sings with the internationally celebrated Jewish A cappella women's quartet, Vocolot. In addition, she works as a session recording artist and performs as a solo singer-songwriter and pianist. She has received numerous awards by the West Coast California Songwriter's Association and was featured on the Women of the Bay compilation CD. She is also a music educator devoted to early childhood music instruction.
